New Plant Protection Products Register from 8 September

| Plant protection productsAuthorization

The BAES Plant Protection Product Register is being updated in terms of both technical functionality and user-friendliness. The user interface has been optimised for use on mobile devices and to incorporate further improvements. The ‘old’ Plant Protection Product Register will be taken offline on 8 September. The existing web address remains unchanged.

In order to continue the modernisation of the Plant Protection Products Register (PSM Register), a number of new search functions have been developed. The new PSM Register will subsequently replace the existing search interface.

Additional new features that will be available from September 2026:

  • AND operators when searching for or selecting multiple criteria at the indication level.
  • Expansion of the columns in the results list export to include further data fields, similar to the ‘old’ PSM Register.
  • For deleted indications, a message will inform users that any conditions or restrictions for these indications can now only be viewed in the archive file.

Important! – The “old” PSM Register will be decommissioned on 8 September 2026:

  • On 8 September 2026, the old PSM Register – and thus the previous version of the mobile PSM Register – will be decommissioned.
  • The URL used for the old PSM Register (www.psmregister.baes.gv.at) will be retained after the shutdown – users will be automatically redirected to the new PSM Register.
  • The same applies to the mobile version – users will be redirected to the new PSM Register, which will then be displayed in mobile view.

Further information on the overhaul of the PSM Register, as well as the opportunity to provide feedback on its content, can be found under “The Plant Protection Products Register is being modernised – we welcome your feedback”.
