Anyone wishing to place a plant protection product on the market may apply, either directly or through a representative, for an authorisation or an amendment to an authorisation in the Member State in which the plant protection product is to be placed on the market. The competent authority responsible for processing applications for the authorisation of plant protection products in Austria is the Federal Office for Food Safety (BAES). Applications must comply with the requirements of Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 and must be submitted using the application form provided below (Application form under Article 33 in conjunction with Article 55). Particular attention must be paid to the completeness of the documents submitted and to their technical comprehensibility. Incomplete or incorrect applications may lead to delays in the authorisation procedure.
